Getting involved in the Conservative party
Download
The Conservative party is the main force on the centre-right of British politics, and formed the government for two-thirds of the twentieth century. There is an active and influential Christian presence within the party, including a number of Conservative MPs. Elizabeth Berridge of Conservative Christian Fellowship looks at:
- The history and organisation of the party;
- how and why Christians should get involved;
- becoming a party member at local level;
- being an influence within the party;
- becoming a Conservative Councillor or MP.
